The decor is obviously designed but dark. Not very energy efficient and I would say expensive to light. The room was clean and modern, though with 8 lights on the room was still a bit dark. The breakfast buffet was good, better than most Irish hotels that we stayed at. Normally buffets do not cater for healthy eaters. Cheers Paul

The Maritime is an elegant hotel, more than anything I enjoyed the design of the room and the view. Even though the hotel is large I always felt my space was private, which is a good feeling.
On arrival the bathroom bin was full - apart from this everything was faultless.

This hotel is perfect for families looking to explore the very nice walking and cycling trails of the region. We loved wandering down the scenic routes and taking in the amazing views over the bay- a special experience.
My kids wished for a small table in the room for eating snacks. It would have been handy, especially with a kitchenette available.

A comfortable and well presented room, with all expected facilities. A basement car park with an intellectually challenging lift link to certain rooms !.
Menu and food preparation in retaurant seemed to suffer as result of mid week special offer.

Fantastic staff especially the waitresses in the dining room very helpful
Lack of basic training for the staff waitresses did knot know which was a water glass or wine glass/did not know about the wines on offer from only a short list/what were the cheeses on the cheese plate/ wrong food to the wrong table. Lots of small things just need to be trained better. Get staff training right and you will be a good Hotel.

The staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and polite. The food was also of a good standard especially the breakfast. We had a great time in the bar and my wife was very impresssed with the wine selection. Our room was clean and spacious with all the necessary facilities
The bed was not very comfortable and the pillows were quite hard

Spacious, well equipped rooms very suitable for familys - we stayed in a suite. Breakfast v good. Can easily take a walk outisde into the nearby town
The evening meal was only 'fair'. The room we stayed in was quite a distance from the reception/restaurant area which is inconvenient when you have young kids. The lifts to rooms were very confusing - had to take 2 lifts depending on where you were going to.

The hotel is a great spot for exploring beautiful trails and sights nearby. We hiked along the fine coastline and checked out nearby villages, made for amazing memories. The breakfast was solid, and the staff were friendly. Just be ready for some tight parking spots in the garage.
The only downside was the dated fabrics in the common areas, which could use some updating.
